B.B. King was “holding court” for lack of a better description after his concert. It was late – I mean very later as in 2 or 3 AM – he called me over and said “darlin’ I could really use some BBQ chips” No problem – I return with the chips and he takes my hand, pressing something into it. I thought it was a coin, but it was a 14K gold pendant and chain with the tour name and cities on the pendant. King is a class act, no pretension he made time for anybody who wished to speak to him. An American legend 🙂
