whisper fables in our eager ears
to prevent bad decisions,
instill fear at every corner
instruct the eyes to heed first sights.
But it never really works
you still got more skeletons
in your closet than Lindsay Lohan,
more baggage than Louis Vuitton.
At the end of the day, you guess,
you think, you hold tight
to one single belief,
and that is… you can make it.
