really intriguing. I am beginning to see something very similar among more millennials here in Texas. Not quite celibacy, but they are getting bored more and more with sexual relationships. Again, not exactly the same, but the prevalent mood is not as oriented on sex as even seven years ago. Much more platonic relationships.

It is intriguing…not bad thing I suppose if they are looking & finding something special.

I think they are. It seems to me that there was an expectation after the sexual revolution that everybody should be very sexual. I agree, of course, that our society had become too narrow and restrictive. What I find interesting is that there is a kind of swing back. I just think it is healthier. It is not coming from restrictiveness, just the recognition that not everyone should be concerned with sexual satisfaction. The idea that everyone should be going around trying to achieve some kind of orgasmic transcendence has its own restrictiveness. At least, I try to encourage youth to explore and see where they are. There is a nice mixture of those who are very sexual, very erotic, very aesthetic, very intellectual, and very spiritual. And a great variety who are a good mix. That is healthy.
