…A common theme throughout the 8 young mens’ profiles who are no longer with us is that they were upstanding members in their communities, never known to carry weapons, although in many of their cases they were accused of having weapons that were never found, and the officers involved in their murders were often found guilty of wrongdoing by independent investigators but more often than not faced little to no reprimand for their actions.
