It’s been said in many places before: A degree in the humanities isn’t exactly marketable to employers (less kind critics have called those degrees “useless”). But there’s one humanities major whose graduates are doing quite well in the job market—and it’s philosophy majors.

Ha! Well, don’t I stand corrected?! I, myself, was an English major, who couldn’t find a serious job until a bit later in life, and only after acquiring a master’s degree in a science. For me, it’s too late to go back and try philosophy (a forever-love of mine), but I can dream, fantasize, postulate and theorize about what might have been.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and I shall certainly look forward to exploring yours!
