A tough guy who gave my brother his nickname


This was a nice find. I knew Don Slatton when I was a kid in the 60s. My brother, Granvel Paul “Buffalo” Brown, was trained by Don to wrestle in the circuit in Abilene. If I remember correctly, “Buffalo” was a name Don helped  him decide on for being a wrestler but Paul used it his whole life.

My brother dropped out of wrestling after a couple of seasons to be a professional musician.

RIP the Law Man and Buffalo.
