There comes a time when you notice that a good swathe of your contemporaries are only worth engaging in order to sharpen your rhetorical weapons.
To improve your mindful practice, you must turn to those much younger who recover within you the dynamics of faith and to those much older who regenerate the energy of love.
Your own generation at best mostly provides an exercise in hope that you will yourself not fall victim to the hardening of the categories.
