The Great Way (DAO):
Never doing (WU WEI) but
always doing all.
If kings can follow this,
the 10,000 things
will grow and develop
spontaneously.
During the course of
growth and development,
whenever arises
a desire to do…
I will suppress it
with the simplicity (Pǔ)†
of the Great Way.
With the simpleness
of the Great Way
no desire.
Having no desire,
achieving tranquility.
All under-heaven
achieve tranquility.
†This is the Chinese word Pǔ meaning simplicity like a piece of wood unwhittled or unadorned, the famous uncarved block.

Once heard someone pronounce WU WEI as “wee wee” and now I cant get it out of my mind. Guess I will suppress it
with the simpleness (PU or “poo”) of the Great Way.
^_^

( ^ω^) suppressed it, yet here I am smiling again!
let the smile flow even as the wu wei/wee wee does not. 🙂
