    When I think of Da Vinci the Mona Lisa is the last thing that comes to mind. My mind rests on his drawings

      Agreed. But I think they point is simply everybody knows the Mona Lisa. I personally don’t even think it is the best of the paintings extant. And the sketches… you can learn SO MUCH from his sketches. incredible stuff.
