Conservation of energy does not mean preservation of energy. See the latter as opposite to entropy while the former is middle ground betwixt the two.

The struggle of conservation we call life; our way through it, love; our outcome, belief.

Always already on the way, only in open communication with faithful friends and the admission of our need for assistance from kind strangers can we hope to accomplish conservation for the time-being.

This journey is our dwelling and arrival at either extreme not an end-for us but verily the end-of our humanity.
